Here is a list of prayer requests from Kim Gringhuis on behalf of the Adoration directors. All of our directors are now back in Port-au-Prince, including Maia Joy! We praise God that after a time of separation, and stressful situations, our Adoration team is reunited and energized for serving the Lord in Haiti!

In our last update, we shared with you the news that a work team would be going to Haiti to help Randy/Kim and their Haitian team prepare a property to be used as a temporary location for Adoration Christian Centre. The team arrived safely and though their luggage was a couple of days late, they have still been able to make great progress.
The team members are Derek Bouwman, Derek DeJonge, Eric Hart, John Meerveld and Peter Oostermeier and they are most certainly being kept busy during their one week stay. We pray for their health and safety as they work long days in the HOT sun.
Randy had a long list of things which needed to be done and the team has wasted no time in getting to the job at hand. Lean-tos are being built to house classrooms. Offices are being built for Adoration Christian Centre administration as well as for the pastors of the church. Items constructed will be made portable as much as possible so they can be moved and reused at a permanent location some time in the future.
Other projects will include putting in a cistern, a septic tank and putting up a foundation for the cover-all tent. Another team will go down, the Lord willing, at the end of April as there will still be plenty of work to do after the current team has gone home.
Karen Lodder hopes to return to Haiti this week for the first time since being evacuated after the earthquake. We give thanks that she is able to be reunited with Randy again and we look forward with them to a time when they can all be together (including Maia) in a more permanent situation (DV).
We thank you all for your continued prayer and support as CDIA and Adoration Christian Centre seek God’s will in forging this new path.

There is not much news to report on. The routine of food distribution is established and continues. In the last weeks, Convoy of Hope provided Adoration with water purification buckets which the team was able to hand out to each of the families. More and more people are coming out and the team is currently feeding about 140 families.
Planning and preparation continues for the future, both temporary and permanent. The Lord willing, a team will be going down this week to prepare a property which will house the church, school and medical centre temporarily. Much prayer is needed. We ask you to help us in bringing the following needs before the Lord:
- Country of Haiti in General: Rebuilding, Food, Health, Healing, Safety, that the nation would turn to God
- Our Students and their families: That they can find a place where they can be safe and stay dry, as the raining season is upon us. That they could be healthy and find comfort in the LORD.
- Ben Hopp’s (OPC missionary) Work Team right now – blessing on their work and also safety. Our work team coming in this week: that they can get all the preps done they need to and that we can be a blessing to each other.
- Prayers for wisdom as we make plans for the future: that our future work will by God’s grace have a positive impact and will help families serve God and their neighbour and that support for resources needed to execute plans will continue.
- Prayers for a solution to the problem of the old school. Big machinery has not been found to take it down and it is currently not safe.
- That the LORD would open up doors for us to share the message of Jesus Christ with the Haitian people.
- Prayers for the health and safety of the Adoration Team in Haiti as well as for Karen Lodder who hopes to travel to Haiti at the end of the month and stay over for the Easter weekend.
