CDIA relies on donations to meet its operating budget. Our goal is to ensure that 95% of your donation goes to operating our projects, while only 5% is used for our administration locally in Canada. Each Short Term Mission team is also responsible for raising the funds required for their trip. Currently donations are either put into the general fund which helps to cover all the costs associated with our projects or the Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund, which will be used to support relief efforts and long term reconstruction after the Earthquake on January 12. Ways to Donate
There are various ways in which you can support CDIA: - Become a Member - Membership is only $50 and is automatically granted to any one who donates a minimum of this amount. (Note: Donations to the Earthquake Relief Fund are not eligible for membership status.) Membership gives you the right to vote at the annual general membership meeting.
- Sponsor a Child – CDIA offers a child sponsorship program. You can sponsor one of the over 200 Students that attend Adoration Christian School or who are part of our Tuition Assitance Program. Currently the cost to sponsor a child is $360/yr or $30/month. This payment can be set up as an automatic withdrawal so that you don't need to remember to write the cheque every month or year. Note: While we are still accepting sponsors, please note that in the short term these funds will be directed to the general fund and sponsors will be assigned once we have reestablished contact with them and can again begin to provide them with at a minimum the food program.
- Personal Donations – Any donation amount both large or small is welcomed and helps.
- Earthquake Disaster Relief Fund: If you would like to have your donation allocated to the Earthquake Relief Fund, please use the Earthquake Relief Fund Donate button on the left side to donate online, or earmark your donation for the Fund when you send in your cheque.
How to Donate - Automatic Withdrawal – if you would like to give regularly and have the amount automatically withdrawn from your bank account, please print out the below form and mail with a void cheque to CDIA.
- Personal Cheque – mail your personal cheque with the below form to CDIA
- Credit Card or Online - if you would like to donate via credit card or online please go to our Donate Online page. Online and credit card donations are processed using PayPal a secure and reliable payment method.
